Playwright James Comtois uses Rob Base’s “It Takes Two” to tell the tale of an epic fist fight–not over a girl, but over the high school lunchroom jukebox.

James Comtois is the co-founder of the New York-based theatre company, Nosedive Productions, for which he has written more than 20 plays in the past 10 years. His play, The Adventures of Nervous-Boy, was published in Plays and Playwrights 2007. Two other scripts of his, Suburban Peepshow and Infectious Opportunity, have been published by Original Works Publishing. Infectious Opportunity was also recently nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Full-Length Script. He’s also been, believe it or not, a business journalist for the past 11 years, writing articles on subjects ranging from apartment building doormen strikes to the plushness of beach towels.
