Spotlight on…April Salazar
Posted on April 16, 2012 by Dana
This is April Salazar.
April has told stories at The Moth and Risk!, among other places, and she has written for Playgirl, SuperVegan, and The Story Collider Magazine. She does not play guitar, but was somehow one of the 100 guitarists who participated in the world premiere of Glenn Branca’s Symphony No. 13 (Hallucination City). In a past life, she was the station manager at WKCR in New York City. She has black hair (see above photo for confirmation).
April’s story for our upcoming show is based on Big Spender. And I hate to be one of those people who is all, “I know what her story is about before you do but trust me, you guys are totally going to love it,” but, I KNOW WHAT HER STORY IS ABOUT BEFORE YOU DO AND TRUST ME, YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY GOING TO LOVE IT.
I know something you don’t know. WINK!
