Wow. It saddens me to write this, but Donna Summer–the queen of more than just disco–passed away this morning. I don’t really have much to say, other than that I just simply loved every note that ever came out of her. From the highest of high ones in “MacArthur Park”, to the lowest of low moaning on “Love to Love You Baby.”
And even this often overlooked one from my childhood. And why not–here’s the extended mix. From the days when “extended mix” just meant “longer drum machine part.”
