Last night at Le Poisson Rouge, we heard stories about a distaste for Don Henley, the songs we sing to our children, how Dave Matthews can (and will) steal your boyfriend, losing the most important person in your life, and the first time hearing the distinct poetry of 2 Live Crew. Thank you so much to Caryn Rose, Cesar Alvarez, Emily Epstein, Todd Zuniga and Jessica Delfino. Soundtrack Series is the luckiest lady in the world to have hosted all of them.
Next we hit the 215! The Soundtrack Series is heading to Philly in 2 days! We couldn’t be more excited to be taking this show on the road, and for our first stop to be our sassy sister to the south. And already, we are receiving incredible support and one hell of a welcome–from RepRadio, The Philadelphia CityPaper, The Philadelphia Weekly, CultureMob and especially, the incredible people at First Person Arts. First Person Arts is Philadelphia’s big mama when it comes to slinging stories. If you live in Philly, or if you’re ever gonna be there, do not miss them. They are a force to be reckoned with.
I can’t wait for Sunday in Philadelphia. In honor of that, here is a picture of Hall & Oates. You’re welcome.Uncategorized and tagged First Person Arts, Philadelphia. Bookmark the permalink.
